Ladies and gentlemen, let us introduce you to DJ Nikki Beatnik!
DJ, Producer, Writer, Presenter and one half of band 'Beatnik'.
DJ NIKKI has
DJ'd across the world for some of the biggest names in music and fashion, for
high profile events and after show parties. NIKKI also writes and produces music
for Fashion Shows, Award Ceremonies, TV, Film and websites.

Hakkasaan, I love the food there. But I dont go out to eat that much as Im dairy
intolerant and a vegetarian for 20yrs, so it narrows down the field a bit

prob Balenciaga, but Burberry is killing me this season, also love Nikita for
jeans and sportswear, they are a brand from Iceland for surf and ski- boarders,
v sporty designed by an amazing snowboarding chick
Who did you want to be as a child ?

Is it harder for a girl to dj?
is it harder? It definately is harder to get respect as a female DJ from your
peers and it used to be physically hard work lifting record boxes and being out
at night on my own all the time, but once you are established and if you have
talent, people remember you more. There is no anatomical reason why men would
make better DJ's- we have 2 hands, 2 ears and a sense of rhythm- so I have never
understood what the big deal was!
Plans for future ?
I want to work on what makes me happy in music, which is songwriting and
producing tracks for artists. My brother is an artist/producer, so I will
continue to work with him on our music for TV, film, radio and fashion shows...I
also want to add to my 300+ shoe collection, get married and retire to somewhere
hot!
