HOW TO DRESS TO WORK by Christopher Cunniff
The most valuable lesson to learn is that you don’t need to sacrifice your
personal style to look professional. Let’s prioritise and begin with the most
important part of any working wardrobe – shoes.
There’s nothing more unsightly than an impertinent business woman power walking
the streets in a firstly uninspiring suit and, upon closer inspection,
sneakers. This behemoth of fashion-faux-pas is quite frankly inexcusable.
Understandably, teetering to the grind in six inch heels is certainly not the
most inviting aspect of a Monday morning either. However, neither is lugging
around the aforementioned footwear in your handbag.
Luckily, new brand on the block GEOX solves this conundrum with uber
comfortable patent leather sling-backs and peeptoe kitten heels. The patented
technology in the soles of the shoes allows feet to breathe so there’s no
justification for those trainers any longer.
The range is vast and will be injecting some serious European style into our
stagnant high street when the first UK store opens in Covent Garden later in
the year.
