Hoxton Square have deliberately gone for an unfinished, "rough, uncut, urban" feel, with bare warehouse walls, scratched-up furniture and one huge
glass wall exposing the clientele to the headlights of cars trapped in the one-way sytem. This raw chic works quite well, but NOT when applied to other aspects of the place such as
the service, the cocktails, the toilets etc. Although the staff are friendly some have a tendancy to be incompetent, but if you're after a few beers and some decent cooking in an ultra-trendy atmosphere, this place fits the bill.
