The Wolseley
Dining at the Wolseley is a big-budget affair, but an affordable afternoon tea
offers a taster of the splendour and elegance of this landmark venue. For less
than a tenner, you can indulge in a plate of freshly baked scones, complete with
own-made jam, clotted cream and a pot of tea – we've tried the afternoon tea
here and rate it one of London's best. Renowned pastry chef Claire Clark left
her post at the Wolseley in 2005, but her legacy lives on with a superlative mix
of English cakes and French patisserie.

Like I said million times, I love to have my afternoon tea there with my
girlfriends. Scones are delicious!

I took 5 friends for brunch on my birthday. Some of us had brunchy food,
and some a traditional Sunday lunch. The food was great, service good and
the atmosphere was perfectly relaxing for a Sunday get together. I will
certainly recommend this place.

It's fantastic! I loved the mix of tourists, London girls treating
themselves to a cake (or two) and St.James and Mayfair businessmen!
Naf said. If you look for a delicious desert, great tea or a potencial
husband head to The Wolsley!
